What Is
This Product Used For? –
Cylinder handling products are used for the safe transport and storage of various size cylinders. Cylinders when full are heavy awkward products, that depending on what size they have rounded bottoms, so they cannot stand upright on their own! Cylinder handling trolleys are fitted with retraining bars/chains at the front of the trolley to ensure the drum cannot fall forward, trolleys are also manufactured with concave frames to enable the round cylinder to neatly sit in the frame so there is minimal movement. Trolleys come in a variety of sizes and styles and also have the option of an overhead crane lift; cylinder racks can be freestanding or bolted to a wall and some option have a pallet base fitted to move multiple cylinders.

Cylinder handling is used in nearly every industrial and commercial facility, hospitals and health centres use large volumes of not only trolleys but storage racks and cages also in there day to day function. Petrochemical and offshore platforms use oxy/acetylene welding cylinder trucks and overhead crane lifting carriers to manoeuvre equipment from level to level.
